Common questions

Storm Watch isn't sending alerts. Storm Watch needs "Always Allow" location access so it can monitor for hail while the app is in the background. Enable it in iOS Settings → WhatTheHail → Location → Always.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription? WhatTheHail+ is billed through your Apple ID. Open iOS Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → WhatTheHail+ to change or cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge.

How do I restore a subscription on a new device? Open the WhatTheHail+ screen and tap "Restore Purchases" while signed in with the same Apple ID.

Where does the weather data come from? Live data from the U.S. National Weather Service and NOAA (MRMS), plus radar imagery from the Iowa Environmental Mesonet.

Safety: WhatTheHail! is an informational aid and is not a substitute for official National Weather Service warnings or for safe driving judgment. Weather data may be delayed or inaccurate. Always follow official alerts, and never interact with the app while driving.
